Refractory Insulation Bricks
Insulating fire bricks are soft and light in weight. They can be easily cut by a handheld hack saw or any other hand tool like a chisel or even drill bit. The Colour of insulating bricks varies but usually, they come in shades from light brown to white. In refractory air is the best insulation and this is why insulating firebricks have excellent insulating properties. Their body is made of tiny air spaces similar to the honeycomb effect. These insulating fire bricks are used on the outer side of the heavy firebrick to prevent the soaked in heat in the chamber’s body mass from escaping and achieving superb results.
Standard refractory bricks are used primarily for custom high-temperature furnace linings, supports and heat shields. standard bricks withstand operating temperatures greater than 2000°C (3630°F) with the capacity to spare. Quartz melting and synthetic crystal growing are typical applications.
Made from high purity refractory clays and other ceramic raw materials, these IFB contain a carefully graded organic filler which is burned out during manufacture to give a uniform controlled pore structure.
Advantages: High Insulating Value, Low Heat Storage, Accurate Dimension, High Purity.
